Tallawalla--Aboriginal for forest country, is on a
ridge overlooking the picturesque town of Dorrigo
and is midway between Sydney and Brisbane.
Located 1 km from town, with elevation of 780 metres,
Tallawalla Retreat is situated on six hectares and
is a perfect place to unwind, as we
offer accommodation for only ten guests. One hectare close to the
retreat is a warm temperate rain forest and a haven for

beauty of Dorrigo and its surrounds is apparent from
the moment you approach. The scenery during the climb
from the Bellingen Valley, passing cascading
waterfalls,
